The final day to fund raise for the Strides for Students is June 18 for prizes. Donation pages will remain open and active until June 25
All challengers must be 18 years or older with the ability to agree to the waiver themselves.
Challengers will select a day between June 16 and 18 to complete their eight-kilometre challenge in one day which will be recorded using the Pacer App. The challenge should be completed in a single day to match that of a nurse's typical day.
Yes, all challengers must raise funds along the way. Prizes begin at $100 raised. All funds raised go toward the Nanji Foundation Bursary in Nursing which helps Seneca’s nursing students with financial need.
Once you register, you will set up a personal fundraising page, add your picture, and explain why you are participating. Your personal fundraising page can be shared through social media and email to help you raise and track your progress. You will also receive a series of emails with fundraising tips.

As part of the Nanji Foundation Community Challenge, The Nanji Foundation will provide an additional $5,000 to this challenge once $5,000 has been raised. Our goal is to meet or surpass the challenge of raising $5,000 to unlock the additional donation for our nursing students — doubling the impact of your support! p>
Yes. Seneca’s charitable registration number is 1079 67168 RR001. All donations over $10 will automatically receive a charitable tax receipt. If they don’t receive it to their specified email address, let them know to contact advancement@senecacollege.ca
Once your fundraising page is set up, be sure to add your photo and update your reason for doing this challenge. You will also be asked to share photos and video of your smiling face during your challenge to share with friends and family.
